ANNOUNCEMENT: Postal delays and holiday shipping guidelines.

We have already observed delays in delivery time for parcels we have shipped in the last week via the United States Postal Service, due to the annual heavy volume of holiday mail.

Therefore we want to encourage you to keep this in mind when placing orders with us during the remainder of December. If your items are meant for holiday giving, please do give yourself adequate time to avoid disappointment.

* For gift items shipping via USPS Parcel Post along the East Coast of the USA, the last day we can be fairly certain of timely delivery for the holidays is Thursday, December 11th. This includes items shipped in-state [Massachusetts] and in the Northeast.

* For gift items shipping via USPS Media Mail, we recommend you upgrade to USPS Priority Mail to ensure holiday delivery.

* For gift items shipping anywhere in the US other than the East Coast, we would not recommend USPS Parcel Post at this late date, but would suggest USPS Priority Mail to ensure holiday delivery.

* The absolute last day we can reasonably expect a gift item to ship anywhere in the United States by USPS Priority Mail and be there for the 24th of December is Monday, December 15th, and even that late date might be risky for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, California, and Nevada, based on our experience on years past.

* We *do* ship worldwide and have a few days left in which we are comfortable saying a shipment will be there by Christmas.

Thank you for letting us assist in your gift-giving, and please feel free to call or e-mail with questions or comments. We are available at 1-508-756-9836 between the hours of 10AM and 9PM Eastern Time, seven days a week; our e-mail address can be found on every page of our website.

As always, we appreciate your support.
